JULIETA HERNÁNDEZ
CREATIVE WELLBEING and YOGA EXPERIENCE
There are people who build careers, and there are souls who quietly weave worlds. Julieta Hernández belongs to the second kind. Rooted between the luminous calm of Spain and the creative pulse of the United Kingdom, she has spent more than thirty years moving gracefully through the worlds of publishing, writing, communication, and editorial creation. Always guided by sensitivity, beauty, and an instinct for meaningful human connection.
Like the slow rhythm of an Andalusian afternoon, where light softens the walls and time seems to breathe more gently, Julieta’s work unfolds through two deeply intertwined paths: connection and expression. Through yoga, she guides people inward, toward stillness, grounding, and the quiet intelligence of the body. Together, these paths become a form of natural wellbeing: calm, rooted, human, and profoundly alive.
Beneath every title, every project, every page, there has always been something deeper calling her forward: the art of listening to stories, to the body, to silence, to life itself.
Writing, books, drawing, and imagination have long been her native language. From this devotion to creativity emerged “Siesta”, her petite independent publishing house dedicated to children’s literature and art, a delicate and soulful project born from the belief that beauty can heal, nourish, and awaken wonder in both children and adults alike. Like a slow Andalusian afternoon suspended in golden light, “Siesta” became a refuge for tenderness, storytelling, and visual poetry.
Then life, as it often does, reclame transformation. Through a profound personal transition, Julieta found herself drawn inward, toward stillness, introspection, and the wisdom of the body. What began as a personal yoga practice slowly unfolded into a path of deep healing and conscious living. Yoga became not simply movement, but remembrance. A return to breath. To presence. To self.
Her training spans Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, and Yin Yoga, enriched further through Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and Yoga & Ayurveda. Yet what truly defines Julieta’s teaching is not technique alone, but the way she inhabits it: with softness, intuition, attentiveness, and profound respect for each person’s individual rhythm.
In her guidance, there is no performance. No pressure to become someone else. Instead, she creates spaces where people can gently exhale. Spaces where the nervous system softens, where bodies begin to trust themselves again, and where movement becomes an act of compassion rather than perfection. Her approach is especially supportive for those navigating stress, emotional exhaustion, periods of transition, or the quiet ache of modern life.
Today, Julieta brings together all the threads of her journey, sharing her writing, creative wellbeing and yoga experiences offering retreats and conscious gatherings. Everything she creates carries the same essence: slowness, depth, creativity, and care.
Like the sea breeze moving through the white streets of Andalusia at dusk, her presence invites people back to themselves, toward a more conscious, poetic, and embodied way of living.
Retreats
“HIGH-YIELD WELLNESS”, Ayurveda Medicine & Yoga Retreat in Cádiz, Spain
Held in the heart of Cádiz at the beautiful 18th-century Casa Palacio Las Marías, this three-day retreat invites participants to slow down, reconnect, and restore balance through yoga, Ayurveda, conscious nourishment, and meaningful shared experiences.
Rooted in Ayurveda, the ancient Science of Life, the retreat explores its three essential pillars: nourishment, lifestyle and daily rhythms, and rest and regeneration. Through simple and practical experiences.
With conscious cooking guided by Pedro Cano, Ayurvedic yoga and grounding rituals led by Julieta Hernández, and the calm atmosphere of Las Marías as a backdrop, the retreat becomes more than a getaway. It is a space to reconnect with the body, quiet the mind, and return to a more natural and balanced rhythm of living.
